Tasks

  • ​Provide advice and suggestions to the College Council regarding the development and evaluation of educational programs and study plans in the College. 
  • Reviewing annual reports on educational programs and study plans and submitting them to the Dean of the College for discussion and approval by the College Council. 
  • Study proposals for educational programs and new study plans in accordance with strategic directions and the needs of the labor market. 
  • Discussing requests for the development, development or suspension of academic programs submitted by the departments, reviewing them and ensuring that they meet all the required elements and criteria, and making the necessary recommendations.
  • Coordination with the supervisors of the temporary committees for programs and plans in the scientific departments of the college, and the Programs and Plans Unit at the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs and Development.
  • ​Studying other work assigned to it, submitting appropriate proposals and making sound decisions within the limits of the powers granted or delegated by the authority in writing. 
  • Submitting the minutes of the committee to the dean of the college for discussion and approval by the college council 
  • ​Submit an annual report to the college administration on the activities of the committee.​
